One of the fast-growing digital publishers worldwide, Curve Digital has won a variety of industry awards for their publishing efforts including TIGA’s Best Publisher Award and MCV’s Publisher of the Year, furthering the ambitions of the ever-growing team.
In addition to working with a host of independent developers, Curve Digital’s internal family of studios includes Brighton-based development team, Runner Duck Games and established game studio, IronOak Games.
With a drive for producing, publishing and promoting some of the most fun, engaging and entertaining games, Curve Digital has released a variety of titles including classic indie gems For The King and Bomber Crew, critically acclaimed experiences such as Flame in the Flood and Autonauts and the multi-million selling smash hit Human Fall Flat.
Meet The Team
With over 20 years' experience in the industry, our CEO, John joined Curve Digital from Tencent where he served as VP of partnerships. Previously, as EVP of Publishing at Sega, he shaped the company's transition, growth and new content strategy. Before that, John spent time with Eidos and Take Two where he was instrumental in the launch of several new franchises.
Simon ByronPublishing Director
Simon has a nose for what makes a hit. A games industry career which began as a journalist, Simon’s since played pivotal roles in the PR and marketing of games such as Guitar Hero, the Batman: Arkham series, Pokemon X&Y, Candy Crush Soda Saga. He featured in MCV's Top 100 Most Influential People Working in the British Video Games Industry.
Investor and media owner within the UK entertainment industry, Stuart built Intent Media - developing it via organic growth and acquisition into a £10m business. Following the sale of Intent, he became a major shareholder and chairman of newly formed Curve Digital in summer 2013.
Ben PayneVP Global Marketing
A videogaming marketeer with huge industry experience. Prior to leading Curve’s worldwide marketing activity, Ben was Head of Esports at McLaren Racing, driving esports strategy. Before that, Ben spent six years at Microsoft working across Xbox 3rd Party Marketing, Partnerships, Events and Windows Global Marketing in that time. He has also headed SEGA’s global marketing for core titles and worked for 2K Games and Future Publishing in a career in the industry spanning over 15 years.
Jarvis CroftsVP Commerical & Publishing Strategy
With 10 years in the video games industry across digital publishing, analysis and commercial strategy, Jarvis Crofts joined Curve Digital to lead a new team as VP Strategic Planning. This team was established to add further depth to our commercial operations, content strategy and decision making, with a view to ensure our partners and studios continue to get the best publishing expertise possible.

Leading the Development of our games, with more than 20 years’ experience as a leader in games development and studio directing, Marcus Fielding has worked for the likes of EA, SEGA, Microsoft and Sumo Digital to name a few.
Susan Planck, FCCAFinance Director
Resident bean counter with over 10 years' experience as an accountant in the media and entertainment industries. Susan's career has mainly consisted of commercially-focused roles within finance and working with recently acquired smaller companies, helping them find their place in a bigger organisations. Hasn't won any awards for her spreadsheets yet, but there's still time.
Paul BaldwinVP Global Sales
With extensive experience in the Console and Mobile sectors, Paul Baldwin has helped to set up strategic partnerships with multiple partner companies. Acting as an intermediary Paul has help connect Curve Digital with partners across North American, European & Asian markets.

With a career spanning retail, media and entertainment, most recently leading the acquisition, operation and sale of Global’s live production and publishing businesses, Ian Buckley brings his wealth of financial experience in creative industries to the world of gaming.
