Community Manager

London Full-time

This is an exciting full-time opportunity for a talented, passionate and experienced Community Manager to join our growing Marketing team at Curve Digital.

Reporting to Curve Digital’s Senior Digital Marketing Manager, the Community Manager’s responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the day-to-day running of all owned Curve Digital social channels, including Facebook, YouTube and Instagram
  • Responding directly to the Curve community across all channels, ensuring our tone of voice remains light, positive and fun
  • Owning the creative output of all social channels - from initial concept through to final delivery
  • Acting as Curve Digital’s streaming expert, ensuring we have a regular and consistent streaming schedule across all relevant channels
  • Reporting on the successes and failures of the social channels on a regular basis to key stakeholders

Requirement

What we’re looking for!

  • An expert on all things social, from traditional channels such as Twitter and Facebook, to upcoming apps including TikTok and Discord
  • Mid-level abilities in all Adobe package software, including Premiere Pro, After Effects and Photoshop
  • Experience working directly with online communities, responding to their issues and reporting back to wider teams
  • Familiar with the presentation process; happy to create social-based decks to present to the wider company
  • A true games fanatic, with knowledge across all platforms and a passion for indie gaming, but able to talk direct to fans with less knowhow
  • Experience running multiple social channels at one time, often with multiple objectives and stakeholders

 

In addition, your previous work experience should have equipped you with many of the following practical skills:

  • Self-motivated - looks to action tasks that will help the wider team, rather than wait for work to arrive in front of them
  • Proactive - looks at the wider calendar of releases to work ahead whenever possible, utilizing quieter periods to prepare for busier times
  • Flexible - ready to change goals and priorities at short-notice, often juggling multiple projects with deadlines and dates that can change rapidly
  • Passionate - loves social media, brings that passion to every post on our channels – regardless of whether it will be seen by a handful of people or millions
